First Message in American Morse Code Sent from D.C. to Baltimore
Today in history marked the offical opening of a telegraph line with Samuel Morse (a co-inventor of the single wire telegraph and co-developer of the Morse code) sending the first message across the 38 mile line which was: "What hath God wrought".
