Scotland Votes To Remain In Great Britian
Today the citizens of Scotland voted to forego independence and remain a part of the United Kingdom. This vote made international headlines and recieved much attention from England's Prime Minister David Cameron as he essentially pleaded with the Scots to keep Great Britian together. The voter turnout in Scotland was reportedly at it's highest level since World War II. The result was roughly 55 to remain and 45 to become independent.
As a result of the vote, Cameron has agreed to give Scotland more power, but also increasing that of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
The Queen herself is set to make a speech addressing the historic vote.
