Roy Rogers

Dubbed "The King of the Cowboys", Roy Rogers was a singing cowboy who starred in film, television, and musical recordings.

Roy was a childhood hero to many. He embodied the "good guy" and brought a real presence to the silver screen that is unique to Roy. Unlike many "dark" heroes today, Roy brought a bright, light-hearted, and happy (not corny) presence to the screen as can be seen in many of his films.

One of the things that set his films apart were the musical performances.

Roy would go on to marry Dale Evans in 1947 on New Year's Eve.
