James Madison (4th President of the United States) would become known as the "Father of the Constitution" due to an outline he created that would - with revisions - become the U.S. Constitution.

He would also become known as the "Father of the Bill of Rights" for authoring the Bill of Rights (the first ten amendments to the Constitution).
